On our first holidays as a family Part I

Hello everyone! I hope you are all alright :)
We just came back 2 days ago from our trip to South of France which was FAN-TAS-TIC! I am apologising for those who don't really wanna see all our photos but I may over post with pictures xD Hey after all going from more than 400 pictures to almost 40 is not that bad, is it? However, I'm going to post them with different posts over the week, otherwise you would over scroll to look at the pictures and it would be no fun ^^

Here she was, our perfect little angel sleeping almost the whole time during her first flight. We woke her up at 3 am - poor thing, I felt terrible going in her bedroom and taking her out of her comfy bed to go out take a cab - and she didn't even cry once. Well maybe she did, but only half hour before our plane took off as banged her head - poor thing again :( - on the table in the cafe where we sipped our coffees as quickly as we could to then run to the boarding. Anyway, the ear thingy didn't bother her at all once again, we even had the impression it made her laugh sometimes.

We arrived to a very sunny and warm Nice, how lovely! It felt so nice to have a bit of sun and warmth! And we were so happy to see my Grandma and my Mom!! I don't know how I did it as I didn't even have a nap during the day and was awake since 1 or 2 in the morning..

In the afternoon we went down the river next to my Grandma's flat, right until the beach, yeeeaaay!!

Look at that cutie pie, she woke up on the beach from her nap and was sooo happy :)  Apparently some kids/babies are scared of beach/sea at first. But not this one :)

Also, she adores standing on her feet!

The day after we arrived, V and I took off to Grasse - by bus, which took foreeeever!! I really do need to get my license!! Even though it was a bit more cloudy, raining when we left, it was a lovely day! Such a pretty city! - Don't worry there will have some landscape pictures, only in an other post during the week ;) .

I love this face <3

V never can believe how tiny normal coffees are in France haha ^^  So obviously we needed to have pictures with those. They were delicious though.

On our bank holiday week end last week :)

Last week end was a long bank holiday week end in UK. It also was Mother's Day in France - yep I kinda get 2 Mother's Day muhahaha, even though we celebrate it mostly for the UK one. And even though it didn't last, it also was a warmer, sunny and so nice weather within the week end. So on Sunday we went to the park, my favourite park by far in London, Kensington Gardens. I wanted to take Chloe and V to the Diana Memorial Playground and make Chloe try the swings, unfortunately the queue to get in was for at least 40 minutes. Even though it is a nice playground I thought it didn't worth it with an almost 7 months old baby girl, we wouldn't have stay that long anyway. Instead we walked a bit around the park and stop for a little while which was so lovely! Then we went down the street where I used to live while I was an au pair, until the museums and took the tube back home after grabbing a Starbucks. We went back there on Monday to have a Museums day, an hour in V&A - my favourite museum in London - and Natural History Museum. That was a perfect week end for me :)  And we even got to be with Papa for a bit longer than usually :p
Looking forward to our holidays to South of France in a couple of days!

Here are some pictures if you wanna see :)

Those little chubby hands are just the most adorable ones ever. I'm totally addicted to those and her feet :p

Like mama like daughter haha :p

Pictures in mirrors are the only way for us to have a picture all together when we are out of the flat.
Ps. V&A toilets in the cafe look so posh and vintage, I love them!

Tomorrow we are heading to South of France. Hopefully we'll have some sun and warm weather. Because the weather in London has been quite pathetic and a real despair to me lately! Seriously, it's supposed to be spring and it's almost as cold as this winter... Also, tomorrow will be Chloe's first time in a plane. I'll let you know how it went ;)

Have a lovely week :)

Little trip to our family in France.

We went to France to weeks ago to give my family a visit – and see some doctors in the same time, which was much needed! This time we did the journey with the pram, which I thought would be easier. It actually was on the way there as I got help from the train station as soon as the lady noticed I was travelling alone with a baby. But, oh my god, what a difference with France!! From Lille to London they didn't give a S*** that I was alone with a 6 months old baby girl, a huge luggage quite heavy for me and a couple of bags, they still asked me to fold the pram to pass it through the security, they let me fold it and unfold it all by myself, never asked if I needed help, I needed to ask to someone who was working there to help me to put the pram and luggage in the train once on the platform, but did not get any help inside to fold the pram even when I woke up my deeply asleep little angel who was crying while I was folding the pram because of all the bending. But watch my words, I actually met some genuinely nice and helpful french men at the bar when I went to get my free coffee who went all the way down my coach to get my luggage, bags and pram all the way up to the bar coach so they could help me with all of that once we arrived in London, how lovely! I don't know how I would have done without him and even though he won't see it I'd like to thank him so much!! (I also got treated with a paper bag full of my favourite biscuits :) I guess I also own that to my adorable angel as people can't resist to her :p)

Here are some pictures if you would like to see.

The fact that she is seating by herself is just so helpful, being able to be on the train without needing to hold her on me all the time but having her seating next to me instead - keep an eye and an arm on her still - made it so much easier! We've lucky enough to have the seat next to us available on the way there and back.

C is opening her arms to people - aka mostly me and V - when she wants a hug/cuddle or to be held. This is one of the cutest thing ever!

Chloe is trying to kiss so much lately, which is just adorable as she is actually just opening her mouth wide and put it on us,  our lips ou grabbing our noses. I'm in love with those and her hugs/cuddles.

Is it me or she looks like she is asking for help or thinking "what the hell is going on here?" xD lol

Craziness is part of our family :p

C fell in love with that vintage armchair. She has good tastes already :)

Judging by that smile she had in the train and how good she is, I think it is safe to say that she loves travelling - probably got that from her mama's addiction to travels :p
